"ominously beautiful"

"almost painfully honest"

This is a series about avoiding you and, in doing so, finding a world that feels like it belongs entirely to me. Anxiety led to me exploring my surroundings at night and this series of images and text documents the journey from recluse to something of an unseen adventurer. Covering themes of mental health, unbelonging and control, I inhabited a number of locations, taking them back for myself if just for a single moment.

How long had I been gone?

How long had I been back?

Did it matter?
